21 years of building scrubbers — here's what we've learned about picking the right manufacturing partner.
I've been in this industry for over two decades. Here's what I know: not all OEM floor scrubber manufacturers are the same. Some have been cutting corners for years. Others have the capacity but lack the quality systems. Finding the right partner means knowing what to look for before you sign anything.
Whether you're an equipment brand looking to expand your product line or a distributor wanting your own private label, this guide covers the four things we've found matter most in an OEM floor scrubber manufacturing partner.
Some manufacturers can only handle small-batch orders — 50 to 100 units a month. Others push 500-plus. The question is: can they scale with you?
Ask about monthly output, current lead times, and whether they run single or multiple shifts. A factory running two shifts has more room to absorb your growth than one barely keeping up with existing orders. You don't want to be the customer stuck waiting because their biggest client takes priority.
Certifications tell you whether a factory has put systems in place, or just checks boxes.
A factory that has all four usually runs a tighter ship. One that has none is taking shortcuts somewhere.
Here's where it gets real. Any factory can show you an ISO certificate. The question is whether they actually test what comes off the line.
Look for: in-process inspection during assembly (not just final inspection at the end), battery and motor bench testing before installation, water-tightness testing on every tank — not every 10th one — and documented test records you can review. If they can't produce test data from last month's batch, that's a red flag.
The best OEM partners don't just build your design. They help you improve it. A manufacturer with in-house engineering can suggest material substitutions that save cost, redesign a bracket that's hard to manufacture, or help you meet a certification requirement you didn't know existed.
We've had customers come to us with a design that looked good on paper but had a weldment that would have cracked within a year. Our engineers caught it before the first prototype was built. That's the kind of partner you want.
We've been manufacturing floor scrubbers since 2005. Our facility in Ningbo operates ISO 9001-certified production lines with CE and EMC certifications for the European market. We offer OEM and private label services — your branding, our engineering and manufacturing — with minimum order quantities that work for both startups and established brands. Over 40 brands across 30 countries currently OEM their machines through us.
We also handle the parts that eat up your time: packaging design, documentation, compliance paperwork, and after-sales technical support in English and Spanish.
